What is needed to bid in an auction?
PLATFORM's requires bidders to create an account to ensure a seamless bidding experience. With an account, you'll be able to easily register for any auction sale through our auction calendar, whether you plan to bid in person or company online.
Follow our step-by-step account creation guide to assist you in this process. Our online Client support team is also available to answer any questions. You can contact them here.
Please note auctions require additional identity and financial verification such as a bank reference and valid identity/passport document. An online help will ready to help you if this is necessary.
Where can I see results of past auctions?
With a PLATFORM's online account, all of our auction results(up to last month) can be viewed in the Auction Results section of our website. You will be able to filter them by location and the type of auction.
If you are unable to locate an auction after looking through the website, please contact our online Client Support team.
Can I cancel a bid?
Bid cancellations are conditioned to the term and condition of auctions. Please refer to the 'Term & Condition' listed on each auction page for further information.

How can I bid in an auction?
Simply choose any auction and click on the 'Place Bid' button for that event:
The detailed pages for each auction also provide the option to register. To be eligible to bid, please be sure to complete your account profile 24 hours prior to the auction. Don't have an account? See this guide on how to setup.
How can I bid in an auction?
Depending on the sale, you may have the following options for bidding:
Online: You only can participate in real time via PLATFORM's online bidding platform. You need to register for an account beforehand and place a bid on a lot before the auction begins. During the auction, you can monitor bidding and place an add-on bids if you select.
Absentee: Absentee bidding allows you to set a sudden value or leave a maximum bid with PLATFORM's before the auction begins. PLATFORM's will then bid on your behalf up to your maximum bid amount during the auction. If someone else bids higher than your maximum bid, you will be outbid. If you win the item, we will notify you after the auction.
Does PLATFORM's also accept bids from organizations?
Yes, PLATFORM's accepts auction bids from both individuals and organizations.
If you would like to create an account for your organization, please create an account with PLATFORM's as an individual and tick the option company that represent the company.
Please review the list of required documents and upload together with your personal document.
Note that a single bidder entity will be associated with the account. Invoices and payments must be made in the name of the registered bidder (whether it be an individual or a third party) after an auction has been concluded.

No, PLATFORM's accepts auction bids from truly Malaysian citizen or with Malaysia work permit.
How to collect my bid item?
After successful of the bid, an email sent to you, you need to make payment within time frame specified. Then an email letter to inform a location of the shop to collect your item with your balance paid on the spot. You must be the registered person for collection.
What taxes do I pay on my auction?
Successful bidders will receive an invoice(both deposit and balance) with taxes (GST or SST if any) applied. And the Balance invoice need to be paid to the shop before collection or on the spot upon collection.
The final amount due will always include the hammer price.

The fastest and most secure way to pay is online at www.PLATFORMs.com/my-account or to use the PLATFORM's mobile app. (Note: We accept debit card or any saving or current account without any surcharge fee)
Invoices and payments must be in the name of the registered bidder, whether an individual or a third party. The bidder's name must match the name on the invoice and payment method used. This is a standard practice to ensure proper tracking and ownership of the items being sold.

What is the threshold for paying by credit card?
Payment by credit card is limited to your issuing local bank.
*Please note that there is a 2-6% surcharge fee (plus applicable taxes) on all credit card transactions. This surcharge only applies to auction item(s).
How do I pay if my item is above the credit card threshold?
If your invoice exceeds the issuing bank card payment limit, you may pay up to the limit with card and then any remaining excess balance owed must be settled by wire transfer or direct deposit.
*Please note that payment by wire transfer or direct deposit will be no limit.
Does PLATFORM's provide separate invoices?
We do accept multiple partial payments for an invoice from a single payer. We cannot divide a single invoice in order for multiple payments to be made from different payers.
We kindly remind you that the invoice should be paid by the same person who placed the winning bid. The name registered under the bidding account and the name used for payment should match to avoid any potential complications or delays in processing.
Your auction amount must be paid in full before any items can be released for collection.

How do scheduled payments work?
For those invoices, at the close of the auction we will charge or debit your saved payment method to cover the minimum hammer price include any taxes for lots you won.
When you register to bid, you will set up a preferred payment method. You will also need to specify how you wish to take possession of any auction, either by collecting in person or having them delivered. It is important to keep these preferences up to date. To change your preferences, and see detailed invoices for auction, log in to your account.
